SC Spartan Cheer
South Carolina Spartan Cheerleading is a traditional style sideline team, taking athletes of all skill levels ages 12-18. Our cheerleaders begin our season developing strong fundamentals, learning stunts and sideline material. By the end of season we have mastered sideline material, a halftime routine, and built lasting friendships and trust.
FAQ
Athletes must be 12 to 18 years old and not yet graduated from High School. We DO NOT hold traditional try-outs to make our team. Registration ends when the team is full or on July 7th, whichever comes first. Please email cheer@SCSpartans.org if you have further questions.
Workouts and team get togethers begin in May, check our Instagram or sign up for our email list for current season details. Regular season practices are held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evening starting in July. We reduce practices as the season and the team progresses in skill and familiarity. Our season ends with the League Championship game on the first Saturday in November. Practice times are 6-8pm and are held at Westminster Park, Rock Hill SC.
There is a non-refundable $100 registration fee plus a player fee of $550. Our uniforms are purchased by each athlete, our current uniform will retire in 2027. We offer optional and easy fundraising opportunities to help offset these costs. We can also work with you to establish a payment plan upon request. We do NOT want the cost to keep your athlete from joining us, please email registration@scspartans.org with payment questions.
