FAQ
Athletes must be 12 to 18 years old and not yet graduated from High School. We DO
NOT hold traditional try-outs to make the team. Registration ends when the team is full
or on Sept 1st, whichever comes first. Please email Registration@SCSpartans.org if
you have further questions.
Workouts and team get togethers begin in February, check our Instagram or sign up for
our email list for current details. Regular season practices are held Monday, Tuesday,
Thursday and Friday evening starting in July. We may drop some evening practices
towards the end of the season as the team progresses in skill and conditioning. Our
season ends with the League Championship game on the first Saturday in November.
Practice times are 6-8pm and are held at Westminster Park, Rock Hill SC.
Most League games are on Saturdays, though out of league games can be played on
Thursday or Friday nights. We are a travel team, meaning some games will be here in
York County at District 3 Stadium in Rock Hill, SC. Away games will be within a few
hours drive, we do our best to keep games a reasonable distance for a day trip.
There is a non-refundable $100 registration fee plus a player fee of $550. We offer optional and easy fundraising opportunities to help offset these costs. We can also work with you to establish a payment plan upon request. We do NOT want cost to keep your
athlete from joining us, please email registration@scspartans.org with questions.
The player fees cover use of all main equipment your child will wear this year including helmet, pads, and uniforms. Our team equipment is quality, safe and inspected regularly. All equipment meets or exceeds all safety requirements to play. You will need to purchase cleats (any football cleat is fine), mouth guards, and personal athletic
support.
